WWE to cut back on PPVS in 2017

WWE might be cutting back on the number of PPVs in 2017. According to the WON, the decline in WWE Network subscription numbers in September is the reason they are considering it. Plans are not finalized, though the “last word” is that there will be fewer shows next year.

Less is more. More people will watch a PPV if the buildup is top notch. Throwing together a feud in 3 weeks won't get fans excited.

No shyt, if you're gonna do single brand PPVs go back to the old format of each brand having a PPV every other month, not every month.

My viewing has been way down since the brand split. I was all in the first couple weeks but after the first months PPV's, it just became too much. The more you miss the more you lose the want to catch up and with so many of these shows and matches and feuds, they start running together and never feel like they are building anything but just filling the time slots.

It's disappointing too because the wrestling in WWE is good and they have a lot of different types of wrestlers having really great matches but they have the same problem the NFL is having and thats just too much of the product all the time. I used to look forward to Monday and one sunday a month to watch some wrestling now it just feels like they are just biding their time until they can figure out something different to do for a couple weeks.
