- WWE officials are reportedly very interested in bringing current New Japan Pro Wrestling star Prince Devitt, who may or may not be contracted to the promotion.

The story goes that Adrian Neville (the former Pac) was signed by WWE because William Regal brought a tape of Neville vs. Devitt to Triple H. This led to WWE going right after Pac.

The interest in Devitt continues. His name keeps coming up within WWE in regards to names who they would like to reach out to.

Just because they wanna reach out to him, doesn't mean he'd wanna go. But he's one of the best in the world and at least IN RING would be an amazing asset. I don't know about on the stick though...

lol I would be surprised if Devitt comes to WWE. His career is on fire in Japan, why ruin that and come to WWE and proceed to be fed to the likes of Cena, Orton.etc

Basically. There's definitely interest on WWE's side (Regal basically blatantly confirmed this), but Devitt's always said that he's pretty happy where he's at. And truth be told, he might have more opportunity staying over there as a Jr. Heavy slugging it out with bigger guys than in the overstuffed and underused WWE midcard.

We'll see though.

Unless they offer him a considerable amount of money (I'm thinking uppermidcard level kind of $$$), I don't see him signing with the E. As it has been already mentioned, he's in a great position in NJPW and the only way he's leaving is a "can't say no to" contract

Probably gonna come down to whether or not he grew up dreaming of being in WWE. Fulfilling a lifelong dream is a big thing to a lot of these dudes. Hard thing to say no to.
