Back in the days the graphics were like

nikkas were genuinly shook to face certain wrestler because you could lose your tittle

Those hard cardboard belts on the cutscenese

Every belt being the European championship

Backstage attacks with the jaws theme

Boiler room matches

WWF tittle changing a 100 plus times between like 6 wrestlers lol

Game would've been GOAT except for 2 things:

1. actual gameplay in matches was meh

2. lack of cutscenes in story mode

Also gotta mention the wack entrances with only the titantron playing in the background, with the wrestler walking in front. And the fact that some moves which should have caused heavy damage and keep the wrestler weak, didn't actually do that (weapons, finishers)

But SD1 definitely had games like No Mercy beat in terms of graphics and overall appearance. Wrestlers actually changed their facial expressions in that game and shyt......The Dwayne actually raised his eyebrow and removed his elbowpad ......if someone offered you advice backstage and you told them to fukk off, their face would go from to

Smackdown 2 > Smackdown 1

Only thing I hated was in Season mode where it would load for 30 seconds for a shytty 5-second backstage cut-scene saying "Kurt Angle is in the building tonight!"

I had to give up on the last one after Edge bought front row tickets to see my match for the 7th time. It was the only interaction I ever had with him as well, not one fukking match.

My nikka, smackdown 2 had the potential to be the GOAT wrestling game but the loading was Showing me random cutscenes what had nothing to do with me, taking long or storylines what never had an ending. Every 5 months someone would randomly attack mr ass but we never found out

You had to sim through them all though with those crappy health bars
