Exhibit A: Is CJS CDKeys legit? • /r/Steam

Exhibit B: 40 CJS CD KEYS complaints and reviews @ Pissed Consumer

Now who's lying? Looks like you guys are the ones working for CDKEYS, I noticed they did a "search wipe" from all the bad reviews they used to have.

This website Buy Fallout 4 Steam Key and Black Ops 3 Steam Key only at CJS CD Keys is asking for personal information when I go to buy a CD Key.

After looking on the internet whether this game is legit or not, I submitted a payment for MW3. They emailed me a few times, activating my account and then they started asking for verification. They first asked for my mobile number, which I promptly gave, then they asked for photographic ID and a picture of a handwritten message containing their site name.

Is this legit or is it taking my information? Don't worry, I gave them false location details anyway.

The fukk does a website just selling products need to call and text you for? Acting like they google and shid. Here's another review:

Avoid them like a plague!!!

I payed for a game with my working PayPal account, I use it all the time for buying and selling. It was supposed to be instand delivery.

First they told me they won't send me the game until I confirm some code via SMS. Ok, whatever, I did it. But no. Apparently that wasn't enough. They told me they won't send me the game unless I send them a scan od my ID or passport AND a scan of my bank statement AND a handwritten note. Which, of course, they never got and I got a refund.

Never again, CJS
!

Proof that they have asked for ID and phone numbers, just like I said. You goof balls never had to verify because they were able to phish your shid already. They will already charge you then say they can't send you the item unless...bullshyt. When a consumer is computer savy then they want to be nosey cuz they can't fukk with the real ones who know how to use the internet. But go ahead and rock with them if you want to, don't say I didn't warn you.

Did you even read the links you posted? In "exhibit A" The creator of "CJS CD Keys" responded to OP about why they asked for said info.
Hi there, CJS here! We only ask for this information if the customer fails the telephone verification 3 times in a row, or if their order is extremely suspicious in nature. Only about 1 in 100 customers are asked for ID. (Probably your order was triggered because you provided false location details). We delete the documents immediately after verifying them, and we are more than happy for customers to blank out any personal information. We only want to verify your name and address - information which you already provided when checking out.

OP immediately got his cd key without needing to give up his info since that post.:russell:

Now another thing is the OP of this thread posted a link to "cdkeys.com" and you're complaining about an entirely different site called "CJSCDKEYS.com"

You just proved my point dummy. CDkeys sent a bot immediately along with fake spam users to say how legit they are. All the websites are CDKEYS that's the point they are frauds it's all the same site and same methods.

Since you want to be goofy cdkeys.com reddit review:

www.reddit.com/r/xboxone/comments/2kytez/is_cdkeyscom_legit/
I ordered with them trying to find out if they are valid. First, they only accept paypal, which is a little suspicous in-an-of itself. However, after my order it got flagged for review:

"You are requested to respond to this ticket or email us directly on support@cdkeys.com with a photograph (taken with a smartphone or digital camera) of a valid ID such as a Driving License, Passport or National ID card together with today's date/time and ‘cdkeys.com’ written on a piece of paper."

But I should feel safe because this is standard procedure for them.

"Please be assured that it is standard procedure for certain orders to be checked in this manner and is for the security of all parties involved."

I definitely don't feel secure just handing out copies of my ID to people. I would not do business with this company.

Same shyt different toilet. I told you they are all the same. More proof that they ask for phone numbers and ID, which is malpractice for selling products. They are good at making fake accounts to say they are legit, I give them that.

You can't tell me nothing, I'm speaking personal facts straight from CDKEYS that was advertised through IGN, it was their official flagship site, they are bullshyt.

The real thecoli.com users, dont listen to these spam accounts and affiliates, CDKEYS is a scam site plain and simple. Enter at your own risk.

I've had people use cdkeys with no issue. I just used them for the first time and used my bofa card to be safe. They (bofa) did flag the transaction due to the transaction being outside of the us. I'll keep my eye on my credit card bill

12 months of XBOX live is regularly $ 35 - 40 anyway. Buy it from eBay through PayPal if your worried. Purchase from a seller with a good rep. It's not like this is the only place you can get this deal.

Get your identity stolen online brehs.

Those cdkey sites are shady as shyt. I used one once, got a game that could only be played in the soviet Bloc and had to get a new debit card. They're not authorized re-sellers. Maybe it works for some, but there are tons of stories online about the shady shyt these cdkey sites do
