Can't believe it'll be ten years tomorrow since the xbox 360 was revealed.

Yall remember the hype around d this shyt? I think everyone I new jumped on it from ps2.

the first two years of this console were incredible disappointed the One/PS4 couldn't match it

remember this like yday,

jumped in my car n drove fast as hell in the morning to pick it up. hated the og xbox but didn't want to wait for ps3 for next gen so got this. and one of the best consoles ive ever purchased.

God awful launch hardware aside, the 360 had a pretty good 3/4 years when it came to games. then the Kinect came through and fukked it all up.



Ok seriously the launch hardware was abysmal, I went through four goddamn 360's in a span of the first three years and that's some bullshyt.

I liked the console initially but when I did the math I was a lil with how ms nicked and dimed me.

Console: 400
Live 60
Wifi adapter 100
Play and charge kit (was proprietary while Sony used mini usb like many cell phones did.) can't remember the cost tho.

And that's before you even got a game and another controller

Let's not forget the HD-DVD fiasco

But it was my first foray into online console gaming. I was amazed the first time I played a game with someone who wasn't beside me ( had done it on computer but never on console.)

First time I played music from my hdd while playing Madden 07

Remember downloading hella demos just to say I did, no more worrying about scratched disk!

And finally, no more.memory cards (didn't have an og ex box)

shyt was a game changer.

Mine eventualy rrod on me but by that time I had a PS3 so I didn't give a shyt. Did the qtip trick 4 years later and traded it in to best buy during a promotion
