Pretty much every studio/game/ip has been “purchased” from somewhere.

Sega has purchased lots of studios and IP as well.

MS bought them games. But Sony did a lot of buying too and has absolutely nothing to show for it.

I really don't get why both sides care about sales like it has any impact on you as the consumer.

Don’t care about “sales” beyond the idea of a thing being successful enough to exist.

I made this thread because people here have called these games/franchises trash or irrelevant for years. And claimed microsoft/xbox itself was failing and gonna be sold off or closed down.

Come to find out, as soon as they release on a sony console, people seem to really be interested in them on that platform. And xbox is currently thriving.

As always i’m just here to make the sony stans come to terms with the disparity between their cult rhetoric and reality.

Yakuza/Like a Dragon is pure SEGA through and through

Sonic Frontiers, Sonic Superstars & Team Sonic Racing is all SEGA too
