Xbox Scorpio fixes NOTHING for longtime Xbox fans

Where's the exclusives?? I haven't turned on this thing since Halo 5 and it's been gathering dust for almost a year now. I'm seeing so much excitement from Xbox fans but I beg the question, what's there to play?? Every game coming out on Xbox is already out on PS4 and the few "exclusives" are on PC which I can play in 4K right now. The Scorpio is a borderline stupid move and addresses nothing.

Where's the JPRGS? Where's the ACTION games? Where's the games that defined Xbox?? Instead I'm being spoon-fed year after year of the same regurgitated Forza but oh it's in 4K now Halo is irrelevant as Destiny 2 is going to be better. Gears is outdated and that's that. I'm seriously considering just buying a Switch and playing that and PS4 for the rest of the gen. I didn't buy the Pro as it's not interesting enough but at least they're whipping out exclusives one after another. The Xbox One has been a gargantuan DISASTER for me.

Second, most people don't have a 4K capable PC and most don't want to spend over $1K to have one; the average PC gamer has a midrange machine.

The Scorpio is brilliant in the fact that it will be more powerful than most midrange PCs and lower the barrier to 4K gaming.

Also, most people don't like RPGs let alone JRPGs and if you bought an Xbox for JRPGs knowing that it's a console that caters to shooting games and sports games, you're a fool.

How is it exclusive if I can play it on PC?
I just saw my friend playing Gears of War 4 on his PC.
and a 4K PC isn't that much. My friend's PC was built YEARS ago and can play 4K games just fine.

This is a sorry excuse for Xbox not supporting these games. I want VARIETY, not just a dudebro console. Playstation has ALL of these games, why can't Xbox get it together?
and $1000 can build a capable gaming PC for 4K and play those few rehashed Xbox games.

You'll watch all of your media content on said TV though, with the PC, yes you can do work on it, but you'll building to play 4K games, which is why you're even spending over $1K on a PC hardware otherwise you'll get a nice laptop for much cheaper.

And not even being talked about with PC building is the money you'll spend of peripherals, a 4K monitor, keyboard and mice, etc.

I would guarantee most of the sales have come from the PlayStation and you're proving my point, the Xbox is what it is and never tried to be a well rounded system.

Look at the second half of the 360's lifespan.

Knowing that, why would you buy one if you like a variety of games, knowing Microsoft will cater to shooters and sports?

Get the PlayStation and play it if it has everything you want.

I'm a former Xbox stan who was put off by the initial release of the Xbox One, so I decided to skip out on this generation. The strategy going in wasn't focused on my interests with the Kinect and TV being major talking points in their presentation. Now with the Scorpio being all about power and making the games look and run better, it is a day one buy for me. I can't wait to play the games I missed out on. Gears of War 4 and the remastered version will be at the top of the list.
