Is that enough to make you cop for $400-500? I'm personally undecided. Playing the best console version of Battlefront 2 and RDR 2 is tempting as hell.

There is no "games" to be revealed FOR the Scorpio. It's just an upgraded Xbox 1. it's not a whole new generation that will run it's own games independent of the XB1. Anything shown at E3 is 100% playable on the XB1.

You CLEARLY have no idea what Scorpio is capable of every game gets upgraded, old and new. That's the point, which you missed. Not all games will get the red carpet, but for instance lots of games are made with 4k assets on PC, that can easily be ported to Scorpio. So there isn't much work to be done in a lot of scenarios. Ryse 4k hdr in ultra settings is a go, you can't find that combo on PC.

That's no longer true, but is mostly correct. There will be Scorpio only games.
But most games will release on both. And the Scorpio version will have added everything including frame rates.

Scorpio is a next gen system in terms of capability, it's just not being marketed as such.

I don't know why the console crowd has such a death grip on their wallets, man. People happily spend a thousand dollars a year on a new iPhone but can't fork over 350-500 every three years for upgrades? I'd gladly take the Scorpio at 500 or even 600, same as I'll gladly take the PS5 in 2019 for 400. Nikkas getting that this generation won't last 7 years

because the majority of the "console crowd" aren't the same cats posting on forums outraged about the latest game being only 30fps. They generally don't care enough to buy these things. Yeah they'll "say" they want the best but talking =/= action.

This thread, I agree isn't a GREAT thread. But it's harmless, and its drumming up Scorpio conversation. We see early thoughts, can see biases, and some people will actually learn from it. It's clear a large portion of Sony only gamers pay no attention to what the competition is doing. nikkaz really saying there are no games

They don't understand what Scorpio does out the box. This thread enlightens the community

Besides, once next week arrives a Sony gamer (or mod if liquid was around) will badly name a thread, will not update the thread with new info in the O.P.
