Microsoft redeemed themselves and this was a slow year compared to the future 
Love my Series X went through hell and back to get it

that being said I love my shyt…I went from not needing to rush and get it to being lucky to have 2 XSXs that I use everyday
When I copped the series s for fam, I did test it out for a few days and concluded that the average person wouldn't even notice the difference between the two performance wise.
Playing a game on a 4k TV and then playing it again on a 1080p screen, you won't notice anything different. I say that to say a series s would have been a doable backup system to your main. I didn't think it would be until I took the Pepsi challenge

Bought my son the PS5 last year and wasn't impressed.
Was going to get one but then an opportunity came up and I was able to grab an Xbox Series X
No regrets at all. It's a more gamer experience. Game pass is awesome.
