Defend Earth from Giant Insects and Slice Up Zombies in XSEED’s E3 2015 Lineup
E3 2015 is quickly approaching and XSEED has confirmed its lineup for the show floor as well as platforms and launch windows. PlayStation 4 and Vita are the focus (Though 3DS makes an appearance) with a variety of genres.
- Earth Defense Force 4.1 The Shadow of New Despair (PlayStation 4) Fall 2015: updated version of EDF 2025, better performance, a lot of new content, two player local co-op and four player online co-op. Lots of insects are going to die.
- Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space (PlayStation Vita) Fall 2015: this is the first time this game will be coming West and it wll have four player co-op online, a new class, and English voiceovers. Just think of a portable EDF and that’s it.
- Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson (Nintendo 3DS) Summer 2015: a sexually charged fighter where you can rip off the clothes of your opponent. Also you can control two fighters at once, though how that works with the 3DS controls puzzles me.
- Senran Kagura: Estival Versus (PlayStation 4, Playstation Vita) Winter 2015: Another sexually charged brawler of Senran Kagura but with the capability of having ten players online and four players on the Vita.
- The Legends of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel (PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita) Fall 2015: A sequel to a cult classic PSP title, will support cross-save.
- Corpse Party: Blood Drive (PlayStation Vita) Fall 2015: the final installment in the trilogy will feature binaural audio so that those with headphones can be even more creeped out by horror chibi monsters.
- Onechanbara Z2: Chaos (PlayStation 4) Summer 2015: the last Onechanbara game that came West was OneChanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers on the Wii in 2009. This game will continue the hack and slash gameplay as you control vampire sisters fighting zombies.
- Return to PololoCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairy Tale (Nintendo 3DS) Winter 2015: a mix between Harvest Moon and Fantasy Life, features turn-based combat, lots of items and quests for around 25 hours of gameplay.
