once they stopped putting New York nikkas on the cover, shyt seemed to be more on point.

I've not got a fukking clue what Lupe or Dro did there but Richboy, Plies, Boosie and half of Slaughterhouse that was kinda cool.
Funny thing with the 08 is that everyone pretty much had a rather successful debut album already.
2011 was cool too, Meek, K. Dot, Cac Miller, Based God..
Drake and Minaj skipped 09 too..
But anyways, looking at all the years last year was the weakest but next year
I don't know, rap is getting back to it's roots it's hard to see who has a big following unless you're following them. I don't even know who Kid Ink is and I just seen that he has a quarter million followers on twitter.
