Magazines are only as good as their contributors. The source was awesome until benzino punked Mayes into that RSO rating and all the journalists on staff with integrity left...landing mostly at xxl, which was a good mag until the stupid rivalry with the source and em/50 covers.

Print is dead anyways now.

I miss mags like ego trip & elemental.

it's been a steady downhill decline since they started riding Aftermath's nuts. even since they dissed Em in the first place really. they changed the whole layout and fonts & shyt in 2001/2002 (I remember an issue with OutKast and SPM) it was just hard to read not to mention the quality of journalism going down

I remember it use to be open forum when it came to writing them. Ive sent emails shytting on some of the wack ass artists they use to put on there and XXL's constant dikkriding of Interscope.
