Very solid album off one listen. I wasn't expecting anything from X at this stage of career, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Man I found this a chore to get through, X still has it lyrically but I wasn't fukking with any of the beats until the Cube feature, I liked maybe 5 tracks from the tail end of this, I really dont fukk with Dem Joints as a producer, not sure if X is still beefing with Tha Liks but it woulda been nice to have some E-Swift tracks on this, no Thayod, no Jinx...I found this to be a disappointing listen. Glad ppl seem to enjoy it but it wasn't for me.

I pre-order the physical copy of Kingmaker (6/20/2025). I love how the OG's of hip-hop still trying to make quality albums.
This is Xzibit's best album since At The Speed of Life & Restless which are both classics. His last album Napalm was very good and gave off vibes from Restless imo. Kingmaker is dope ass album from start to finish with no skips.

Liked 10 tracks out of 20. The ones that I liked are great, the rest very meh.
I'll probably throw some tracks on a playlist but I wont revisit much of this
