Really good album, liked it more then I anticipated
Had higher expectations mostly because hes been working on it for quite a bit so in that way thought it would be a bit better
Truth is i really need to listen to these as legacy projects and if i wanna go back to their core just play the old stuff (note for the mass appeal avalanche soon).
Its fine for XZ in 2025, at least better than Cube's newest thought that was weak, couldnt really rock with it.

Like it overall but got mixed feelings. During the 40 Dayz and Restless era, Xzibit was close to my favorite rapper so had high hopes for this especially with how long he worked on it.
Appreciate the grown man approach to content, and he showed he can still write and still spit. A lot of the production feel too subdued though. Xzibit will always sound best spitting aggressively over beats that knock. Could have used more of that.
