imagine killing an animal and not using the entirety of it? that's how it was intended. that's how natives did. you spoiled by the perspective of being able to walk into a big ass store and buy meat with no struggle. you not having to catch, gut, clean and cook an animal then repeat that process on a regular basis every time you want to eat. you would def be maximizing on your kill

...and then there's the fact that animal tails are a nutrition bank so that flavor people are chasing exists in the tail for a reason.

Breh you took all that from my comment. I was halfway joking. I was just making an observation. My family were sharecroppers and hunters/farmers by trade only 2 generations ago. Many still do. Trust me I know about using all the animal.

Tbh i bet you could tell the difference. The tail on the kangaroo vs the tail of a cow serve 2 different purposes physiologically. Kangaroos hold their whole body weight up with their tail so its probably tough af. nikkas say kangaroo meat is super lean too. Doubt it gets that gelatinous texture that you get on oxtail.
