It's one of the few "sports" where if you were good at what you did you could be relevant forever damn near. Also it pays well on the big stage. AND you get celebrated too. It's not like you coming out to a HS gym bleachers worth of people(unless your major) I ain't gonna lie, shyt like this is dope. you getting paid getting bytches and you get to show up to motherfukkers cheering you on? why the hate?

I ain't never had no pop going to work.

shyt got to be a dope feeling.

I don’t watch it but I’d more so call it scripted than fake. You fall off a ladder through a table that shyt is going to hurt and you hear about guys getting their necks broken and all that, yeah it’s predetermined and they pull punches but there’s definitely skill and athleticism involved.

Ok but if somebody don’t like you they can make it so you’ll never get to shine. You can be the best at what you do but politics is the driving force on whether you succeed or not.

Kofi Kingston was the first black man to win the WWE Championship last year since Dwayne Johnson back in fukking 2002. And you tell me where Kofi is now? A nobody again throwing around frozen pancakes like he was never the WWE Champion. Your argument has too many holes in it breh.

Breh it's kinda just like every other sport. You know how many men and women are fighting for spots like that? You think every kid in their backyard right now has an equal chance to be the next Rock?

Nah

Let me explain my stance better. I agree with you. Most people don't have a shot at it. BUT you got a better chance of that than being the next Steph Curry

If you are good in real sports, you will become a star. In wrestling you only become a star if the booker picks to you be a star. There's many "good" wrestlers who didn't become true stars because the booker held them down.

I feel you on that. But to be honest that doesn't hold wait either. there have been plenty of players who have been good that have been drafted as if they weren't. Tom Brady for one. Terrell Owens was a third rounder I think. etc.. not saying that i disagree because you are right in a certain aspect.

I actually think it's the opposite. WWE is not technically a sport, it's entertainment. In the NBA or NFL regardless of who you are, it is based on skill. If you can really ball, you will get the call. You can be a crowd favorite, but if you suck you won't go anywhere other than the bench.

In the WWE it's about stories being created. It doesn't have much to do with skill. WWE pushes who it wants to push. I think at one point Stone Cold went to Vince and basically asked him to push The Rock more. Basically there is a good chance The Rock would not have gotten the same opportunity w/o the help of Stone Cold and we all know how talented The Rock was.
