Social media has been ablaze with fans of rapper Lil Boosie celebrating his release from Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola on Wednesday, celebrations which actor Jason Weaver (Drumline, Smart Guy) calls some “c00n s***.

The actor took to Instagram to express his disgust over the glorification of a rapper in prison for drug possession, one who was also charged — and acquitted of — first degree murder in the shooting death of Terry Boyd.

Well Jason weaver is an idiot, people celebrating Boosie freedom because a black male over came the injustice of the justice system. Now obviously there's some who just happy his free but those that have followed Boosie's career know what he's over came.

Boosie pissed off a lot of authority figures in Louisiana & they had it out for him. Trying to arrest him every chance they could and pile any crime being committed by those around him.

The same "justice system" that's here to protect us was trying to wrongfully incarcerate a black man because of his image and what he rapped about. They didn't give a fukk about no evidence, they saw some skinny black male from the projects with money and a lil fame and decided to make an example out of him.

I'm not trying to paint Boosie as any saint because he's far from it but he's a voice for the youth down here in the south because he speaks from the heart, he spit that real shyt.

You know why no one celebrates the other things he mentioned? Because the media never spotlights it, how the fukk does Jason weaver know what ever single black family or black person is celebrating physically & emotionally?

He got an Instagram why doesn't he search for graduations or shyt like that so he can be satisfied with what he wants to see from our people?


He's directing his frustration at the wrong people, how about he talks about how the media only wanting to highlight the negative stereotypes of our people instead of attacking people being happy a black man beat the injustice of the court system.

I feel you, breh. I'm not sh!ttin on Boosie and I'm glad he's out too. I just get what Weaver is saying that more positive black role models should be championed. Seems like there was more hoopla about Boosie being free than outrage over Michael Dunn only getting hit with attempted murder after shooting up a car with black teens and killing Jordan Davis.
