Just from reading on the web, folks are already asking if Durant will ever be able to win a ring with LeBron around and the Heat only able to get better. Plus now that 4 of the top 5 draft picks in 2003 have rings, Melo will be singled out now as the only player left who should win a ring. That hate/slander and jokes of the ringless talk has to go somewhere... it will now rest solely on the shoulders of Melo and Durant.

Durant's isn't deserved (at least for now), but Melo will get it something serious... media will make sure to do it. There has to be some hype in the East for next season with Rose being out...

Didn't Melo kind of force Denver's hand in the trade and nudge D'Antoni out the door? Dude's probably going to get it TOUGH, especially in NY w/ the $100M Man, reigning Defensive Player of the Year, AND imagine if they have a big FA signing in the off-season. He should definitely get the pressure.

I'm really curious about how Dwight Howard'll be perceived after LeBron's win. 3 Defensive MVP's. A Finals Appearance. Got SVG & the GM pushed out of Orlando. Hmmm....

Dwight is a p*ssy. Always has been. Whack competitive nature. He's the type of dude you don't want on your team. Lebron was mentally weak for a long time but I was proud of that dude forreal this season. He manned up and did what he had to do. TBH his season was one of the greatest stories in the NBA for a long time.

if the knicks don't make the ECF next year, the media will really turn into vultures

The ECF isn't gonna be enough to save Melo from that slander. There really is no reason he shouldn't have a ring right now or at least made a Finals appearance. The vultures will be out this off-season/next season...

Dwight is just not the kind of guy you expect to lead a team to a ring. He could be... and SHOULD be... but he's not. And with his new team in the balance... there's no telling what he may do. But the talks will drift towards him as well. CP3 is another one that will enter that discussion.

Durant wont really get it that bad, he's still real young. Though I guess if they lose in the finals next 2 years or something they might start saying it

I said before that the media eventually will turn on Durant. It won't be nearly as bad as Lebron though.

People been giving Melo shyt since last year, he's just not successful enough to garner the level of hate Lebron did.
