Y’all eat dressin or stuffin?

There is no difference technically. Dressing is baked and Stuffing is stuffing for the turkey. I think the difference that people make is whether its made of cornbread or its made of bread crumbs/packaged dried bread crumbs. I think most people associate dressing with cornbread.

Some places interchange the word, but when people say:

Dressing - usually southern/southern roots, its cornbread based and baked in its own pan, usually includes eggs as part of the binding agent/liquid, dense

Stuffing - more of a northern word, usually uses bread cubes, can either go inside the turkey (although Ive read conflicting things about the safety of this) or baked on the side, usually just uses broth - no egg, fluffier and loser

I only ever hear it referred to as "stuffing" by non-blacks. :skip:

Also I don't prefer the taste of stuffing and think its soggier, you definitely taste a strong taste of the turkey insides with stuffing :scust:
