My first ever console was a GamePlayer 2 Famiclone 'preloaded with 100 games' my parents bought at some Chinatown shop in Brooklyn.
It was done up to look like a PS2 but had like 20 NES games instead. It's laughable now but I was maybe 5 or 6 and was so incredibly hyped for this knock off. I didn't know anything else existed, Contra, Super Mario, Duck Hunt blew my mind to think nikkas were playing Windwaker and Vice City while I was completely satisfied with those (at the time) 20 year old games is hilarious. I ended up getting a GameCube late too but a part of me is kinda happy I got to appreciate these classics in a vacuum before moving on to polygonal games.

I once got this NES Knock off for my nephew it had about 100 games built in and you could plug it into your tvs AV outlets. The games were mostly clones of the official but it ran pretty solid.
