yeah I saw the podcast the other day…the worst part for me was joe saying he felt uncomfortable whenever he’s at a show and a black comedian goes too hard on white audience members lol smh (idk if the clip shows that part)…joe/the podcast is always at its worst imo when he decides to randomly start pandering or in other instances caping for ppl who he has/hope to have a relationship with

I've seen Eddie Griffin live multiple times. Last time I saw him at the Raleigh Improv last summer he cussed out a woman in the front for making a lot of noise when she was laughing. And when he cursed her out he was just cursing her out, no jokes, nothing funny, the audience wasn't even laughing they were gasping and his set wasn't really funny compared to the other times I have seen him.
I got mad love for Eddie but I will admit he's gotten mean as fukk as he's gotten older. He spent a 5 minute segment shytting on everyone who got the covid shot calling people idiots sounding more like a right wing republican. His takes on his Youtbe channel can be downright mean at times.
Now I've seen Corey 3 times and enjoyed it every time so this isn't a matter of me being overly sensitive or easily offended. Maybe it was just one bad set I saw, idk but I understand what the folks in the OP are saying. Eddie's funny is slowly being replaced with anger.
