Think companies who sponsor parties and no longer can do that should just give bonuses or monetary gifts or gift cards to employees.

I refused to attend mine this year, although they begged me to go. I already can't stand the cacs I work with. Why would I wanna spend more time with them, just because I'm getting one free drink ticket?

Always attend them when I can and have a good time.I have a couple of drinks but don't go overboard. Work is a lot like high school. It's important to be seen and perceived as high social status and these parties are often the office prom. You can parlay that social capital into raises and promotions while the worker bees "work hard"...

I’ve been to a few nice ones. One year we had ours at a casino and they gave out casino “gift cards” in addition to other gifts to play games. Some fools didn’t know they could be cashed in for actual money. They were on that “I don’t gamble” shyt. I cleaned up that night. $100 a card.

Then another company had an open bar at a museum and it was black tie. The jumbo cocktail shrimp alone made it worth it. A coworker wanted to fukk that night but I had a date.



I almost left her bum ass home that night. She’s lucky I have a heart and waited to smash old girl after we broke up. And if you’re stalking... nope definitely wasn’t trash ass LP.
