No Microwave in the house for ten years Now. Never going back. Like you said, toaster oven, fresh out the pot or take out container.
Sometimes I use the microwave to heat up water for tea.
British people get furious if you don’t use a kettle.

I really only use the microwave for them joints you can cook in the bag mostly.. I’m at the point now though where I rip the bag open and just cook on the stove. I hate the microwave

I rarely use my microwave. I prefer to use the stove or oven.

Last few months I’ve been making my coffee in the French press so I heat my water on the stove. Sometimes I want to get a kettle. But it seems like a waste of money.
