I got checked by Mother this past holiday season about this topic. I told her that I don't trust a SINGLE ONE of these help organizations. She said that I grew up here with access to resources and medical facilities that do NOT exist in other places, and that the people in these countries would not be helped otherwise.


These outside white folks provide the services that the home governments DO NOT. period.
I haven't been sonned like that in a while, so I said ok, Ma.

*I saw the young man's name and assumed he was Haitian...then I heard the French the mom was speaking and knew that they weren't.

I feel the same way breh. Damn honestly just seeing those kids in the commercials. I need to throw that $20 soon to them.

nah, and that's the part where my mother wasn't able to shut me up...I still think these groups hustle and steal donations..I just conceded the point that some people are helped who otherwise wouldn't receive treatment or medical care.

If your heart tells you to help, locate a church congregation here of people from a developing country.....ask them how often do they send shipments of supplies/food back home..and donate food or supplies.

if u go to a megachurch, split ur tithes (if you're paying it). give half to the church and half to the starving kids.

i say megachurch because they really dont need ur money.

a small church needs ur tithes to keep the church running, pay the bills, etc.
