Y'all mess with Bluetooth Speakers?

I need some new tech in my home. I was looking at this Bose bluetooth speaker

It has great sound. Would be great for me when I'm cooking some food in the kitchen or when I have my lady friends over

I just see technology like this as a bit gimmicky. Hell I wasn't sold on the tablet idea until I got one for Christmas. I work in technology also and some of the stuff I'm like but the speaker ain't bad.

I bought a Bluetooth soundbar. Stuff is loud, I love it. Especially when I'm cleaning, cooking or have friends over. Go for it

I know what you mean, I own a pair of decent bluetooth headphones and they can't really compare with wired ones even tho they were a tad more expensive. If you really love music and do your research you'll find out the best way to listen is still with wired headphones or wired stereo system. Nothing bluetooth will ever replace, people usually think that's the future (in everything being wireless and bluetooth run) but we have yet to see how data conversion will affect that. Bluetooth headphones are cool and I definitely support it, but if you listen to your music at at least 320kbps or maybe even FLAC quality you'll notice having bluetooth headphones affects your experience, it's not the same, sound doesn't transmit as well w/o cable/wire.

That's what I'm interested in. I am a bit of an audiophile but this is more a convenience thing here.

I got my ex a Sony speaker and it has really good sound and depth and it was a little over $100. My girl now has one too and i think its the same one, also Sony. Also good.

You can get a head unit with aux input, and maybe even bluetooth with that for less than some of these bluetooth speakers.
