Get it together, maufukkas! We're talking about black music royalty and a living legend here, people.
Kanye's albums, from CD to 808, might be the most remarkable run of any black artist in music history. He gave us sht to step to, powerful, and deep records, and everything in between. All falls down --- where he pinpoints black folk's collective lust for materialism, and his own, having derived from a need to win our pride back from centuries of abuse and racism, is one of the more poignant observations I have ever heard in music. He nailed the black experience in America to a tee.
We get to enjoy all of the bomb ass production he is responsible for, having popularized, I think, the best producing trend hip hop has seen --- the sped up soul sample. His discography speaks for itself.
My niqqa didnt come up in the game by french kissing his "daddy", or starring in some lame kids show in Canada. He came up thru the golden era, battling legendary MC's in their prime and paying dues.
Im tired of hearing he's a faq because hes into fashion. Black America should be grateful to Kanye for helping us get out of the 135 pound niqqa wearing size 44 jeans, and a triple xxxl throwback, style, which had niqqas looking like walking billboards for the prison industrial complex. Black style has never been fresher today.
His personal life and wifing up smuts? His business. Who cares. Listen up, niglets!!!! Ya'll did the same sht to Michael. Ya'll pissed on him and shtted on his name while he was alive, and then when he passed its: "OH NO OUR BLACK KANG IS GONE!!!" Stop playing necrophila and only appreciating the dead.
This niqqa gave us arguably the best hip hop song ever recorded (through the wire), and is responsible for enough classic records and albums to last us a lifetime. When Bush shtted on Black America during the hurricane katrina debacle, who took it to his chest? It wasnt niqqas like 50 cent, Ill tell you that. I dont care if you like the niqqa. Respect him.
