a big in the paint clogs the lane forcing you to shoot mid-range jumpers. its one of the biggeset reasons lebron's fg% was shytty this playoffs vs when he was in miami and had chris bosh camping out at the 3-point line. if kobe played in lebron's system with no bigs and all shooters, he woulda avareged 50% from the field getting the looks bron got in this years finals.

you see how many EASY shots bron missed? kobe makes those with ease. same with almost every other decent shooter in the nba.
