Blacks stopped being the largest minority group a while ago. Hispanic are going to represent a larger % of the country moving forward. Forming alliances with them and other current minorities may pay dividends in the future.

I will never use the term "person of color" to describe myself or any other Black person. I have more respect for people and their ethnic/cultural/national and racial backgrounds than to obscure it with the "poc" term.
I do see where people are going with it when they use it around political issues.

There's not gonna be any alliance forming among us and hispanics, Brother, so you don't have to worry about that. We were warned that this day would come, and it has. None of those groups stand to benefit by forming an alliance with us, as it wasn't an alliance with us that helped em get to where they are now. They used us when it was to their benefit, and when it wasn't they had no problem turning their backs.

They've passed us and they're not gonna look back.

We've always disproportionately represented the bulk of the prison population, and now it seems we're becoming the bulk of the homeless population as well, and it both cases in states where our numbers are in the extreme minority.

We're fast falling into the category of "useless eaters" as white people see it, and a quick glance at some of their scientific papers will show what they feel should be done with those.
