Some albums are made strictly for their time. Some of the most dynamic albums are time capsules, this is definetly one of them.

Reachin by Digable Planets is a classic, sounds decidedly less dated than most of the albums from it's era because of the jazz influence, Doggystyle on the other hand...

I don't think anybody would argue which is more important, impactful or would even rank the former over the latter.
