Yeah, they should've changed it. In the 80'soriginal, that was a real thing...but HS hierarchal had long changed by this one

What trips me about this film (and others from that time period) is how smooth and easygoing life was. Sure there were still teenage problems but at least people physically interacted with each other. Just motorola filp phones and driving your parents car. No need to flash for the gram to act like something you're not as the only memes were actual in real life that people forgot about 48 hours later unlike the internet today where it is stamped forever.
