I wanna say 05 ish? As soon as Joe Budden was announced as rocafella, Beans caught a bid, Dame started pushing DDMG with Grafh as his lead artist, Jay became president of Def Jam and Rocafella pretty much became an afterthought.


Just Blaze actually spoke on the whole Joe Budden/Roc shyt before on I think a Juan Ep podcast. He said the plan was for Joe Budden to be ushered in with the new Roc movement they were starting, but Dame kinda jumped the gun with the announcement.
