I was listening to Aaliyahs "Never Giving Up" and it dawned on me that the brother singing with her was only 13!!! For years, I thought it was a grown man, considering she was making music with RKelly but still like his voice was
When did the bar become so low
I mean we can as far back in the 80s, we had Freddie Jackson, Luther even Bobby Brown
In the 90s, young artists coming up like Usher and Tevin could sing and were actually great entertainers. Sure, CB did his thing but he's now singing autotune and the lyrics are beyond basic
I'm pretty sure your 5 year old can make a better hit
It just sucks that I can't hear a record where a brother is singing about the sidechick
Or being the side dude
Or paying all the bills and getting no appreciation
