It's a coach that Jalen really liked.

How Dan Enos factored into Jalen Hurts' decision

What does Lane Kiffin have to do with anything?

You stated he had a QB coach.... whether he helped “tremendously” is debatable.... there isn’t a large enough sample size to quantify that.... i mentioned Kiffin just to reinforce that he had a quality QB coach.. and quite frankly he’s making the throws he could’ve always made.... the playbook is different now

The sample size is big enough. You can see the difference it's obvious in his passing ability.

And Kiffin is at FAU so are you saying he should have transferred there?

Not at all... But I felt like he should’ve transferred to major program... but at the end of the day, he seems like a smart kid with good parents, so I feel confident they made the best decision that was in his best interest

He should still transfer. He needs to start somewhere with no QB controversy whatsoever. He looked way different out there from a year ago. With Tua coming in he finally saw that he has to be able to pass the ball consistently.

i mean, where was he gonna transfer to that would make him that competent of a qb from the pocket

most of places folks want him to go is maybe spread, short passing locations. do folks really think he wouldve gotten that much better

the kid wanted to stay, respect his decision and let this go already

Yeah I mean I don’t know why people keep harping on it. Not every player’s situation and intent are the same. Jalen wants to be a QB, his dad wants him to be a NFL QB. Why not spend another season developing under one of the best QB coaches in CFB, learn from Tua, graduate and then transfer to a place that will fit what he wants to do as a QB? He has that Lamar Jackson in him, he ain’t changing positions at all and I don’t think he should but that’s just me.

Small sample sizes have gotten QBs drafted before.

He made the right choice. He knows he not going to League, especially as a QB.
People act like he was a Great QB and He wasnt..

Now he will be forever loved in Bama..
He will Graduate and have Success doing whatever he wants..

Those BAMA ties will keep his pockets Fat as long as he stay outta trouble.

He was never an NFL prospect imho. He's simply not athletic enough to make up for his below-average passing. He made the right decision to stay on the team and graduate.

It was a feelgood story for many but people beter not act like Saban and Bama didn't show Hurts this year that they didn't care about him at all when they didn't need him.

I really wish he would have just played 4 games this year and redshirted. He still could have played in the SEC Championship & the playoff games, graduate and have 2 years of eligibility left.

Nick Saban reacts to Jalen Hurts' criticism, says it won't impact QB situation
