Smh hov sound like he was reading an acceptance speech with that terrible verse, Luda shouldn't be mad at shyt though with all of the terrible ass bars he littered the world with in his lifetime. Nas saved this wack ass track, never even heard it until this thread.

Luda was out to prove his worth as an MC on that album. He got Primo on there, Game, Common, Spike Lee, and then to top it off he got a track where he spazzing out and its gonna feature Nas and Jay-Z. You know he was like:

"this song right here gonna be classic" :smugbiden:

then he got Nas verse and he was like "yeah man, definitely got a classic on my hands" :ohlawd:

then he got Jay's verse... :wtf:

I was big on Luda for a while and I remember being juiced to hear this track for the first time...Luda and Nas did they thing and Jay-Z verse was questionable. Could have been a better track if they had another rapper who actually cared.

This is just another example of Jay-Z holding back and not giving all his effort on something that aint his. its fruit pop behavior. and even tho i am a fan of a lot of camels music its things like this that will always prevent him from being the goat.

Jay wasted that verse :pacspit: ...I would've gladly took another Nas or Luda verse instead

I don't really think any of them verses were memorable. Thats what happens when you do shyt just to do it. I'mma get Nas on a joint...fukk it imma throw Jay on it to. It'll be my "hiphop song" FOH. Thats like these nikkas getting these throwaway Primo beats...Like "oh I finally got a primo beat" and do the same generic ass song (see MVP). Only nikkas who make good tracks over Primo beats nowadays are cats that actually record at HeadQuarterz. nikkas wasn't breaking new ground on either track. Very forgettable.

"Thank God for Cool Herc, if it wasn't for him I woulda got merked" :comeon:

I remember when I 1st heard this joint. I saw the line up and was like :gladbron: I know this is gonne be fire, I got to Jayz verse like :why: I was expectin Jay to spit some heat on this shyt. I just knew he would be on his shyt because Nas was on the track. What an absolute let down :snoop: Honestly Nas didn't come with a jaw droppin verse either. I hate to say it but Luda outshined both Jay and Nas.
