once again, yall hate on mr. carter for keepin it 150.

you complain when he spits diamond and bentley raps. but when he keeps it real. you cry and say it isnt lyrical enough.

here's the thing. the title of the song is "I DO IT FOR HIPHOP"

as a MCEE you cant take that to a few places. you can get all lyrical, double entendre -ish, or you can tell a story about what hiphop has done for you or why you do it for hiphop and not the fancy things you have.

Luda addressed the later. Nas was somewhat off topic early in his verse then he brought it back around towards the end and tied it all together.

jayZ, actually stayed on topic and was honest. and yall still mad. wow. i mean he started off with the MCshan style, to keep it extra hiphop for you. but that wasnt enough. he told a story about how it started and the reason why it started which was the same thing that saved him. but yall probably dont understand that history. it started to keep the youth from doing bad, doing dirt, fighting and harming one another. this same thing gave jigga a chance to stop doing dirt and stop ducking cops and robbers. and yall mad at the dude's verse. :snoop:

He did stay on subject...that don't mean it was a good verse...nikkas wasnt talkin bout the content...it was the execution that wasnt good...Nas on the other hand...his execution was fine...but the content was kinda lacking imo...he has went in more vivid description about what hip hop was to him on songs that weren't even fully focused on hip hop...which is why I said the song would've been better if both of them put forth more effort and focus...

you are all over the place. Jay delivered his lines correctly. he spit a humble man's verse... humbly. but he still got his somewhat battle mcee on when he clowned jaz while also giving him credit. in addition when he called out other mcees not being able to wash his socks. he showed you the history of hiphop. then his history with hiphop. then he showed you one of the principals of hiphop (believing you are the best mcee). he gave you all of those things in a humble mcees verse on a lowkey beat. Jay did his thing on that track. stop asking for more then what was ever going to be given on a song like this. wrong song for what you're asking for. wrong beat.

nas was off topic at first then he found away to connect the two topics towards the middle and the end. which was cool. nas could've been more on topic the entire time. aside from that. he did his thing as well. luda stayed on topic and his verse was cool. for that kind of song with that kind of beat. they did their thing. you are asking for some super collabo ultra FIRE verses. its not that kind of song. i mean you acting like they did a remix over the quiet storm beat and they went in soft. lol.

I'm not all over the place...I stated my opinion on both their verses and why I felt each was lackluster...the song overall is lackluster...it wasnt either of their best work...it sounds mailed in when it could've been FAR better considering who's on the track...period...I stated my opinion precisely..
