Army texted me 2 days in a row about if I'm interested in joining. They getting the troops ready.

Marines called me last month. I still got 2 months left in inactive reserves though :mjcry:
Don't worry. The Army and Marines aren't going to be doing anything in a war in the Pacific. That war is going to be fought with our navy and air force.

There's no reason for Marines to be landed in Taiwan because they'd literally be on an island subject to missile barrages in a country where they have no need to create a beachhead for an occupying force to land.

Likewise, the army has zero reason to be there because Taiwan has everything they need already in regards to manpower.

Speaking of the Marines, they're in somewhat of a limbo because they aren't able to storm the beaches of any near-peers due to the massive loss of life that would ensue on their side, and anything less than a neer-peer would be a massive waste of manpower and resources.

True. Also the coastguard or homeland security since the biggest danger is cyber warfare from china, powergrid protection and other systems we have.
