all this stock market nonsense makes me laugh. the stock market troubles are only the worries of people in finance and people like stock traders. for a common person who makes wise financial decisions, or even average financial decisions, the stock market will never be a real concern. shyt, most americans can't afford to buy stock in a company in any significant amount anyway.

:santa: jesus

are you allowed to freeze your 401k? be like 'yo stop investing for now and just let it sit there"? or are you completely at their mercy with that shyt?
You could move to a bond fund more secure .. But still subject to interest rate risk so

Cash is the way to go.. Money markets but it's late asf now if people haven't moved already.. They lost

:francis:The average American and should. Maybe the markets would be a bit more stable if they did.

I Am Everywhere.
Predicted the bounce. Went from $2346 to $2485.

It's still risky as fukk to buy here. I wouldn't touch this for at least a month. The current support zone is still $2300-2350. If that breaks, avoid the market for a long time. If it holds for a few months, reevaluate.

(This is just my opinion)

Some simple technical analysis of the S&P500:

There's a support zone around the bottom of the bollinger bands and the trendline beginning at March 09.

If it bounces off there ($2300-2350), it can recover somewhat. But because there are double engulfing bear candles for the last 4 months, buying is risky. If it breaks the floor below $2300 and closes below for at least 1 month candle, it indicates a larger crash to come.

I personally wouldn't buy anything until at least February / March, to see if the floor holds. If it stays above that floor, it's a decent sign. If not, it's likely to go lower.

If it bottoms out anywhere above the $1900s, it will rise again. Potential RSI divergence for those who can read it.

:dahell: the "average person" lost their job during the last economic downturn. Many lost their homes. People have 401ks and investment accounts to think of.

Those companies provide jobs. And when the market tanks like it dude in 08 many went from middle class to lower class

I just dumped a bunch a stock earlier this week and re-diversified my portfolio :whew:
Timing was impeccable by random if i'm being honest.

I'm going to stay put with my investments right now. I'm definitely going to lose some money but I'm really hoping to have some liquidity for the return of the full bear market.

For the first time ever, my black ass is buying if things hit rock bottom. Wish I was done with my car...I cant go too deep in yet until its nearly done and that wont be for months.

Gonna have to try to be on the winning side this time. @mamba :mjcry:I cry sometimes thinking about being on the coli a few years ago talking about AMD was gonna win...they were less than $5 a share. Now look at it, and I got zero to show for it.
