Bu...bu...but Paul ruined his moment. He is so selfish always taking the moment. Dont dudes realize the overness is in the chase for the title? I swear some of these cats starting watching this a year ago.

People ain't complaining about the turn and finish. They (myself included) are dreading what WWE long term booking might do to a guy who could've been made tonight but had his moment postponed. I'm very confident they are NOT gonna bury Bryan, but I can't help but think they are gonna fukk his momentum up because that's what they always do, even when they don't want to do it.

It was "wait and see" with Nexus in '10. It was "wait and see" with Punk in '11 and now is the same with Bryan. Sure, things look good on paper but how many times do we have to watch things get destroyed in reality before we stop giving them the benefit of the doubt? :manny:

If they pull this angle off, then hats off to them but don't expect goodwill from a fanbase that has seen potential greatness turned into "meh" over and over again.

why accomplish something today, when you put it to five months later

It does make sense to have a ready made feud for Bryan after Summerslam though. It really all depends on where they go from here.

Bryan vs. Orton
Bryan vs. HHH

Are the 2 big matches for him getting his revenge. I guess Vince is behind Bryan now going forward too. The moment did feel special with Bryan tonight and I know he'll still be over though I'm not sure if his next title win will feel as special as him beating Cena was tonight. Maybe it will, I don't know. I

Aside from Batista, storylines don't reach it's logical conclusion when HHH is involved

Ok with nexus (well in particular Barrett) didn't end so well. But that whole punk payoff resulted in a 400+ day reign. 9/10 they get it right with long term booking to push a guy to mars. This will work. Bryan will feud with an established heel in HHH (who hasnt been heel in 7 years) who knows how to draw heat. Bryan will chase and be the guy. Its a no brainer

TNA makes me appreciate WWE a lot more sometimes :yeshrug:
I go back and forth. I like both companies and preferred TNA in 2012 but WWE has been killing it most of this year.

Cena vs. Bryan
Brock vs. Punk
Punk vs. Brock
Bryan vs. Cesaro in that gauntlet match
Punk vs. Cena on Raw
SD Money in the Bank
Taker vs. Punk
Some of the earlier Shield six man tags(I think they've gotten a bit stale now though)
NXT in general(I rarely watch it but its usually good)

TNA ain't as bad as it was around 2010(Nasty Boys, Orlando Jordan and Val Venis) but sometimes they have me like (WWE have me looking like that too though) I just hope they improve again. I know how good they can be.

Punk's reign wasn't a result of his feud with Nash and HHH. They had the chance to make him a legit n°1 but they ruined the Summer of Punk angle, fukking his momentum up by October and having to reset his push at Survivor Series. In the end he did become their n°2 guy but as I said, they took something that had the potential to be special and turned it into some bland unninteresting angle...same with Nexus.

Again, Im not worried about DB's status but I have no faith they can pull a great, long term angle with him.
