i agree. I don't even know who the dude is, but $1k for a feature is good if he doesn't have any chart placement. I won't mention any names, but about 20 years ago, a hip hop legend was trying to charge me and my crew $10k, plus points for a feature. I was like "fuk that, dude's not even charting and he wants $10k???". I won't say who it was out of respect to him, but he and a lot of guys now, you can get them for $1k right now as well. shyt, even Cormega said Special Ed tried to charge him $10k for a feature around 2008. His response was hilarious. He said "no way, that dude hasn't had a hit since the Smurfs were on tv", or something like that. A lot of guys like Royce and Xzibit are now charging a hell of a lot less than they were 15 years ago due to the economy and albums only lasting 2 weeks.
