Kanye West’s longtime DJ, Mano, announced on Twitter today that he’s out of job. Mano has a long history with Kanye and has accompanied him on tour for as long as I can remember. However, his unabashed enthusiasm, jumping, and fist pumping didn’t really complement Kanye’s recent stage productions, which have put more emphasis on visual aesthetics than the performers on stage. He’s also been known to flub his parts, as this hilarious compilation put together by KanyeToThe so hilariously illustrates

The timing of the move makes sense given that Kanye seems close to releasing his new studio album and a tour will no doubt follow.
