2-7 in Elite Eight games..You take a 14 point fukking loss in fukking KCMO, basically a fukking home game?
On point. Precisely why I was expecting an L. I was expecting one last round actually.

I feel like as much hate as Duke basketball get it should come from a couple teams. If you not a Kentucky UNC Kansas maybe Michigan st. Fan you can't talk. The hate be coming from fans of teams that haven't won a ring the last 30 yearsI like this people feel like they can disrespect Duke Bball like its Duke football what's wrong with these clowns![]()

Never liked Self, I feel like no one can ever shine in their system and it wastes the elite talents they get. Guys like Wiggins and Jackson are just confined by his offense I feel. He coaches a team that would be great with a bunch of seniors on the roster, not one where the best players are star freshman.
Florida has a back to back championship in the past 10 years something that hasn't been done since 91-92Florida can talk some shyt they have been a top program past 2 decades
The best of the best in no order is Duke,Kentucky,UNC,Kansas,UConn(trash lately) Michigan St,Louisville,Florida in past 10-15 years IMO UCLA as well mostly the Howland years

Just because your usage rate was the highest on the team does not mean that you were given freedom on the court. That whole team is confined. USG% also doesn't tell the full story. A well rounded player like Jackson is bound to drive up usage rate statistics. Rather than letting him have freedom on the perimeter, Jackson was often stuck running the baseline or playing in the high post. Wiggins was stuck passing and cutting over and over and not given enough isolation opportunities, hell I would've liked to see them both get more action as PnR ball handlers.Jackson had the highest usage of any one on his team. I'll even let the Wiggins stuff slide although he took 100 more shots than anyone else on his team.
Jackson got way more freedom than Wiggins or Oubre which explains those high turnovers. I'm done with the excuses for Self but Jackson got freedom.

Wiggins struggles in P&R now in the NBA after 3 years. He would've looked like ass doing that. This team isn't confined. Cats were just applauding their fast pace and play style a few games ago. I'm not defending Self and his shytty high low offense. These dudes just choked along with him.
While Wiggins hasn't excelled in the PnR, he hasn't struggled. he actually performs rather similarly to guys like Giannis in PPP and Scoring frequency - it's a developing part of his game. NBA success also doesn't directly equate to college success, I would have liked to see him get reps in college, his athletic advantages might have made more of a difference there, and it probably would have sped up his development similar to how we're seeing the Kings play with Buddy Hield right now.
I still would've liked to see Jackson in the PnR, especially given his playmaking ability. A fast pace has nothing to do with what I'm talking about, you're bringing up things that are irrelevant. I'm speaking about their half court offense. When Kansas slows it down, their system is rather confining with constant pass and cuts, lack of isolation opportunities, usage of high-low offense which we agree on, etc.
I'm not so concerned with the one particular game in which they lost, I think Jackson's foul troubles took them out of the game. These are longstanding issues I've had with Self.
I mean.... it's hard to win titles regularly in a field of 64
