You can apply that concept to the majority of sneakers out here and not just Yeezy's. The resellers are doing companies a favor by moving stock that would have sat otherwise, so I doubt they care in the grand scheme of things.

An example of legitimate demand would be those panda dunks that everyone is out here wearing.

The amount of people I saw rocking them a couple years ago was a sight to see.. Im sure a number were fake but EVERYONE wanted/had a pair, it got soo bad many were saying it was oversatured and lost some cool factor because even the olders were rocking them. Insane.

I was out yesterday and I saw 2 people wearing the 350s. They're obviously still in demand.
