Running the Madden League, so I might as well get this started as well.

Rules:

Fantasy Draft
8 minute quarters
58 game season
First round of playoffs - sudden death
All other rounds - best of 3
6 Keepers
3 franchise tags

You have the option to designate 6 players as keepers every offseason. In order to designate someone as a keeper, they must still have years left on their contract. Everyone will have the option to designate 3 people as "franchise keepers", meaning we can manually extend their deals so you can have them for as long as you want. You do have the option to remove the franchise keeper tag from one player and give it to another guy on your team on a year by year basis.

This is a franchise mode, the goal is to see players develop/regress. In order to take advantage of finally having a halfway functional franchise, we can't allow a couple of inactive people to slow us down.

Realistically we'll probably play this game for 7-9 months, the real nba season/playoffs is over in 8 months, usually things die out after that point.

If we were to play for 8 months and we spent 6 weeks on each season (that includes regular season, playoffs, and offseason) then we would finish 5 or 6 seasons. If we spent 5 weeks on each season, then we would knock out 6 or 7 seasons.

We don't expect people to play the full 58 games, we just choose that option so the more active people can find games to play more easily. As long as you play 35-40 games then roughly 2/3 of your games aren't simmed so you should be straight.

Training Camps -

There will be training camps, we will do these manually.
