In his defense . My father's family is ADOS. NC and MD and my mother's family is from Panama , Barbados and Trinidad respectively. He could be talking about one half of his lineage.

Criticism of the optics are fair. We did our family tree to see how we got here and found we came enslaved and a whaler came to America in the early 1900s stowed away on a ship, met one of my relatives and here I am.

I respect my heritage but I'm on this side. In traveling I can't think of another counter that's worth living in

People were taking any work they could get to get the hell off that island because the environment was rough. Volcanoes, famine, disease.

My mother's ados side were masons. My earliest ancestor was a horse caretaker in mass.

My father's side quickly bought their freedom and ran entertainment spots in North Carolina. They must have been serious because the klan wouldnt even fukk with them.

My paternal grandmother mom is from Barbados. I'm 1/8th Barbadian

Remaining 7/8th is straight ADOS
