Also most nikkaz out of L.A. don't "blow up" unless they're somehow affiliated wit Dre because of the perception outside of the West... it's why nikkaz like Nipsey, Dom Kennedy and Ya Boy aren't stars yet. Put that Dre consign behind them and it's a rocket. Thats something I hate about West Coast music, it can't break worldwide because nobody outside of the region will give it a chance. Its crazy how many people didn't know who E40 was until Questions finally broke nationwide. You give Nipsey a cosign from Dre and then put him on a single wit Snoop and Kendrick and he's a star, let him continue on his own and he's "stuck" where he is, but a nikka like Gates somehow can come through and break nationwide without a single cosign from anyone major because his region isn't solely looked at for one rapper or producer.
