I'm outta here on Tuesday for Texas. :ucku: this state, and the politicians, and the taxes and all the corruption.

I just had a job interview with the university of illinois this past tuesday, and I was very skeptical that I'd consider taking the job if they offered it simply because of how bad the fiscal situation is. I'd fukk around and not be getting paid on time because of all these budget issues.

see, this is that bullshyt :childplease:

im not ok with 6 figure pensions. no fukkin state can afford to give (some) of its employees 6 figure pensions until they die for not working. it should be a SUPPLEMENT to your retirement that's capped off at like 50 grand

these employees who were promised these pensions need to have their contracts honored. what they need to do is cut this shyt out for everyone they hire going forward :yeshrug: change how they're compensated, because this system is dead

Provide your employees with pensions, brehs.

Never understood that....

"Here, we're gonna pay you for life after you retire working from us."

This only does two things. 1.)Encourage bad saving/investing habits while the employee is still employed. "Why save/invest when the company is gonna pay after I retire?" And 2.) Set the company up for bankruptcy.

Baby boom generation fukking everything up again...

the fundamentals of the pension could work. I believe those folks don't get social security tho.

im not against pensions if the system works. although like i said, dudes are gonna have to make a case for me why someone deserves to get paid more than 50 grand a year for being retired

and if the system doesn work at all..:yeshrug: fukk them. i really dont see how there's any defending this
