What was the reactions like seeing that kid Michael from the Jackson 5 takeover the game like that starting in 79? Was the reactions on some "well we seen that coming, the kids a genius" or was it more like " yoooo who knew this kid Michael had this in him?"

It's my understanding people thought Michael fell off pre OTW....OTW came out and black people were on board to the fullest. The problem was Mike was being kept in the black lane by white america. Mike thought & knew he was bigger than that. Enter Thriller....nobody expected that at all
