U.S. F-16's Strike Munitions Site in Syria.. Owned by the U.S.

Seriously folks, can this get any more screwed up? US F-16’s just bombed a U.S.-owned munitions storage facility. We literally just completed a series of air strikes on ourselves.

In what apparently 40% of America will still see as a genius military move, we bombed oursleves because.. um.. well I guess I’ll just let the poor spokesperson for the Army try to explain this.

"On Oct. 16, after all Coalition personnel and essential tactical equipment departed, two Coalition F-15Es successfully conducted a pre-planned precision airstrike at the Lafarge Cement Factory to destroy an ammunition cache, and reduce the facility's military usefulness," US Army Col. Myles Caggins, a spokesman for the US-led military coalition fighting ISIS, confirmed in a statement Wednesday.

Can anyone else hear Putin laughing at us? Can anyone else feel what must be some horrible mix of embarrassment, anger, and shame this whole fiasco is bringing on the proud men and women serving in the U.S. military?

Sure, we’re trying to keep these weapons from falling in the wrong hands. However, if there had been even a covfefe of planning, they may have had time to remove the munitions on their way out. But the self-appointed leader of the Disaffected Confederation of Soon-Obsolete Americans is so unmatched in great wisdom that they had to blow up millions of dollars of US weapons so that the ISIS fighters couldn’t get to them. ISIS fighters who, by the way, were safely held just 3 days ago and are now wandering around looking for unsecured weapons that the U.S. probably just has laying around because of their hasty retreat.

My freaking G’d. Are the Republicans really buying this guy as their President? Is there REALLY 40% of America who thinks he’s the best guy for this particular job?!?

THAT'S NOT UNCOMMON. PROBABLY COST MORE TO TRANSPORT IT THAN TO DESTROY IT.

That might not be uncommon if it were part of a normal plan of evacuation, but Americans troops were trapped between the Turks and the Syrians and the Americans came under fire from Turkish troops.

US troops came under fire from Turkish artillery in Syria
US troops came under fire from Turkish artillery in Syria
US troops in Syria were nearly struck by Turkish artillery barrages that came dangerously close

Have you not been following this story? The orange orangutan allowed the Turks to enter the territory, before he let his own troops pack up and move out. So they did not have an opportunity to do an orderly withdrawal, which is why they had to blow the shyt up.

AMMO IS DISPOSABLE, EASY TO DESTROY AND REPLENISH. THEY ARE NOT GOING TO MOVE THAT MUCH AMMO NO MATTER HOW MUCH TIME THEY HAD. IT IS WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. TANKS AND PLANES MAYBE BUT AMMO? CHEAPER TO BLOW IT UP.

I get what you are saying, because I was in the military. However, you clearly have not been following this story because this was not planned which is what you are implying. This was done, because the Turks came in so fast that the Americans did not have a chance to properly withdraw. You should really do more research on this story, because you clearly have not been following this fuggery and you have also not likely been following this impending catastrophe on the ground.

YOU SHOULD ALSO TAKE THE CAPS LOCK OFF.

Stupid Americans afraid of 'socialist' shyt like affordable education and healthcare, but fine with wasting mountains of money on shyt like this.
If they give every American child an even slate a lot of white children would fall to the way side.

They won't admit it but that's why they are ok with this and not that

Any Other Federal Employee Giving Himself A Contract Could Be In Jail – But Not Trump
Awarding himself the multimillion-dollar G-7 contract clearly violates federal law, former prosecutors say, but Trump can’t be prosecuted as president.
