But she is a recent example of en mass people not caring if they've never heard a word and understanding what it means.

I'm not gonna debate in TLR, my point was valid, nobody cares. Words express mental images and concepts. If there is nothing that can adequately describe shyt you make one up.

Have you ever said swag? What's slang? On then, man was talking that 1600s slang :mjlol:
Well, we don't study Mary J Blige do we? :martin:

She's not one of the most important writers of all time is she? :martin:

Center self, inner self
King Henry IV part 2 is my favorite Shakespeare play just off how it ended. I identify a lot with Hal and his journey, and when I first read it, I felt like it was speaking to me

In the Silver Lining
Shakespeare introduced, or rather the 10th grade English teacher through having us read Julius Caesar, explained the word "anachronism". It means "out of place in time", and the example in that play was a clock being mentioned or alluded to. The problem is when Julius Caesar was alive in Rome , there were no clocks.

Anachronism. :jbhmm:

I believe he was high as hell too :russ:, making up words and forgetting what time period he was in.
