Yes, IRS says you have to have income for like three years otherwise your business gets downgraded to hobby. But might be different for agbusiness.

The ranch produced nothing for profit, but he had 10 eleventy boys at a time on that ranch working it. Working it for what? His ranch was not a non profit, he was not offering dude ranch services for troubled boys.

He was 'fostering' - to the tune of $100k+ a year.

He was intentionally living off the govt he claimed to be willing to die to fight against.

And his ranch sounds like a indentured servants/Slave set up. Some of Bundys paternalism towards nikkas starts to make a more sinister sense even beyond religiously codified racism.

He had issues with the govt to the tune of like a mere thousand for a misuse of grazing on an assload of acreage. That thousand was chump change for what the govt allowed, and he still pushed it. And he kept fighting them instead of admitting he fukked up, so legal fees added up.

You know that family the Duggars? They had a tv show the Duggars where ol'girl (the wife) gets pregnant every year. They have like 20 kids or some shyt. The way they scam the government is so genius, I almost have to respect it. The father was state representative of Arkansas for some years so he gets free health insurance for life as well as his family, so all them 20 kids plus his wife get free health insurance. Then he is a pastor and his family is the congregation, so basically he is a nonprofit and benefits that way too. So he basically pays no taxes even though he is a multimillionaire.
